Fully Utilized

What is success but something that is fully utilized towards its purpose.
Consider the hammer; a simple tool designed for a purpose: to drive nails into wood, and to pull nails out of wood. A hammer has a purpose, but its value is not fully realized until it is put to use towards its purpose. A hammer can sit in a garage for years or decades and another hammer can be in the belt of a carpenter and be used daily to create wonderful and useful things.
We can look at our own success in the same way. Our purpose is our potential value. When we establish a purpose for our lives we gain clarity and direction. We know what we should focus on. We see where and how we can be of value.
When we are clear on our purpose, and live our purpose, others will recognize our value. People will buy a hammer because they know what a hammer is, and they recognize its value. A hammer practically sells itself. In the same way, people will recognize your value.
Finally, we should be fully utilized towards our purpose. Our purpose must be put to use on a regular basis. This is to be fully utilized. A hammer in the hand of a working carpenter can make many useful and beautiful things over a lifetime. In the same way, if we fully utilize our talents toward our purpose, we will make many useful and beautiful things in our lifetime. Be fully utilized towards your purpose.
There are many more lessons a hammer can teach us, but I will leave those lessons for you to ponder.
