There Are Many Objections to Living Your Dreams
By: jwilder, 1/10/2024
There are many objections to living your dreams. It seems like life takes one hundred percent effort just to stay afloat. There are so many serious demands on our lives: working, paying bills, having reliable transportation, finding love, keeping up with friends, feeding the dog, and the list goes on.
The biggest objection is: I have to make a living. Of course you have to make a living. We all have to make a living. But that does not mean forsaking your dreams. We make a living and we live our dreams. These things are not mutually exclusive.
Another objection is: Dreams aren't realistic. Sure, there are many things that may not be realistic, such as ideas, goals, fantasies, and even dreams. A dream is a desire that comes from the heart, and is achievable. People dream every day. It's not impossible.
But what if you don't achieve your dream? You might be let down, and be sad. The answer to this is no one really achieves their dreams. You can achieve goals. Goals are for achieving. A dream is for living. A dream makes you feel alive today. A dream always gives you hope for tomorrow.
Everyone is different, and everyone has different objections about why they can't start living their dream today. Who can cover every objection that human beings have?
The key is to examine every objection to living your dreams. You might find that your dream is not achievable. No problem. Cross that one off the list and pick another dream. We aren't allotted one dream in life!
