The Mind of Success Builds the Future

By: jwilder, 1/7/2022

What do you want to be when you grow up? What is your major? What is your trade? How are you going to earn a living? These are just some of the questions we had to deal with as we moved from child to adulthood. At some point we’re going to be on our own.

But there is another question that is far more important. What do you want to build? We could potentially have 80 plus years of productivity. Life is short, but 80 years is enough time to build something great and enjoy the fruit of our labor for years to come. The goal isn't to build something great and retire. The goal is to live each day of our lives knowing that we are doing something our heart desires.

Big things begin from simple ideas put into practice.

1. Start by choosing a skill to learn and improve.

2. Use that skill to create something of value.

3. Sell what you created. One of the greatest, and most valuable skills is to learn how to sell.

Once you learn a skill, create something of value, and learn how to sell it, you have the basic model for building your future. Start small. Keep repeating this cycle and make improvements year-by-year.
